I will be fair, balanced and consistent. Being a leader of any organization demands these attributes. I will make every decision and undertake every action by the books, with strict adherence to principles of fairness and to our township ordinances and procedures, and without any regard whatsoever to your party affiliation, your religion, your position in the township or anywhere else, who you know or don't know, or any other discriminatory criteria. Similarly, I will give your problems, concerns, needs, and suggestions the weight, consideration and attention they deserve no matter who you are.
Owning the freedom to act independently and consistently is very important to me. In fact, to ensure that I retain that freedom I have accepted NO monetary contributions in connection with my primary campaign and also plan to pay my own freight from here to Election Day. Hopefully, I won't need much more than a few election signs, because I won't buy this election. Rather, I plan on earning your votes: by going door-to-door and convincing you -- the township resident -- that I am deserving of your vote and the right person for the job.
